# Product Launch Checklist

Use this skill when someone is preparing to launch a software product, or has just launched and wants to know what to do next.

## Get the checklist

## Walk someone through it

1. Ask what they are launching and map it to launch types: `saas`, `mobile`, `ai`, `ext`, `oss`, `dev` (several can apply).
2. Fetch the checklist for those types. Items for other types are left out.
3. Go phase by phase, in order. For each item give the reason ("why it matters"), and say plainly when its "Skip if" note applies to them.
4. Prioritise items marked "Must do". "Worth doing" items can wait until after launch.
5. Quote figures exactly as written; they come from 435 of the authors' own submissions, counted in September 2026. Do not invent approval rates or other numbers.
